Daniel Schulke
DANIEL SCHULKE is a writer on the subjects of folk magic, comparative religion, and occult herbalism. His essays have appeared in The Cauldron, Abraxas and Esoterra: A Journal of Extreme Culture. His first published book was Ars Philtron (2001, Xoanon Publishing), examining the magical hypostases of the Potion and the sorcerous art of compounding philtres. In 2005 Xoanon released his Viridarium Umbris: The Pleasure-Garden of Shadow, concerning the magical properties of plants, their angelic and diabolic emanations, and the magical means of their spirit-intercession. Future projects for Three Hands Press include Veneficium: Witchcraft and the Poison Path. Schulke is the editor of the forthcoming book The Occult Reliquary, to be released by Three Hands in 2010.
